A rare, periodically vagrant species represented by the subspecies D. m. cathoecus Swinhoe, 1871. Most often, the Black Drongo was observed in the coastal areas of the southern half of Primorsky Territory in the second half of May and during June. In all cases, only single individuals were recorded here.
